The Spanish Dancer

This is one of my newest paintings.

The under painting was solid black and white to bring out the colors and shadows.

As I work with each painting I find this is the best way to achieve the style of paintings I want to do. This painting is also a gift for my friends birthday. The inspiration was truly the art of the dance.

Circus Monkeys

My thought as I was doing this painting was one of if the world was a big monkey circus. One of fun and imagination.

Scarecrow

I haven’t painted anything for my site lately as I have been working a piece for my children school. This painting was inspired by the Wizard of OZ as I loved it when I was a child. The idea of the hole in the pumpkin was for someone to put there head though it and then they could take pictures and use it as a prop.

I used acrylic for this painting…

I hope you enjoy it!
